Avondale Common House & Distillery, located at the former Wooden Goat location at 4100 3rd. Ave. S. in Avondale, is set to open this week.
As we previously reported, the new spot will serve classic neighborhood grill style food with locally sourced product, meat, and seafood when possible. Those offerings will include fresh salads with unique ingredients, burgers, wraps, and appetizers and desserts. It will also feature Avondale Brewery beers and a wide array of seasonal craft cocktails using Avondale Spirits, and will also offer wine.
Avondale Common House & Distillery will also have live music on the patio, as well as two garage doors that will open up the whole restaurant in the Spring. The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. It will be closed on Sunday night and all day on Monday.
The restaurant is located right across the street from the site of the Box Row Avondale project that is in development.
